How to use JouView on TradingView

JouView lives inside TradingView. Get it once, then journal every live session from the chart.

1. Create your account

  1. Sign in with Google Open Account and continue with Google. New accounts receive a 30-day Trader trial.
  2. Link your TradingView username Required. JouView connects your account to the TradingView user on the chart. Use the exact username from your TradingView profile.

2. Get JouView on TradingView

  1. TradingView web Install JouView from the Chrome Web Store (coming soon). Then open TradingView in your browser.
  2. TradingView Desktop (Windows) Install TradingView x JouView from Downloads. TradingView Desktop must already be installed.

3. Open JouView on a chart

  1. Log into TradingView Open any chart on web or Desktop while signed in to TradingView.
  2. Use the JouView panel Open JouView from the TradingView bottom panel. That is your live journal.

Side note: you can also use JouView as a paper trading environment. Open trades as they go live, monitor P&L on the chart, and track them in the journal. You don't need a broker.

4. Ask your AI to personalize the journal

  1. Open For your AI Go to For your AI, sign in if needed, and create a short-lived token.
  2. Describe your strategy or way of trading Point your favorite AI at that page and ask it to personalize your JouView journal. Ask for columns, checklists, formulas, and colors that match how you trade.
  3. Or import an existing journal Attach CSVs, exports, or screenshots from another journal and ask the AI to transfer them into JouView.

5. Shape the journal to your process

  1. Customize journal columns Add setups, tags, notes, or formulas yourself, or refine what your AI set up. You can add checklist fields (for example Planned, Retest, Liquidity) and a simple score.
  2. Choose colors and style rules Color wins green and losses red, or highlight high checklist scores so the table is easy to scan.
  3. Trade and fill the journal Add or edit trades from the panel. Use notes, shapes, and snapshots as you work the chart.
  4. Review after the session Open stats, refine columns, and export to Excel when you want a deeper offline look.
