Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Keytech ("we") handles information when you use JouView.com, the JouView API/JS hosts, the Chrome extension, and the Windows desktop launcher. Last updated: 10 October 2026.

What JouView is

JouView is a live trading journal for TradingView. The browser extension injects the JouView panel into TradingView pages. The website provides accounts, billing, documentation, and optional AI-assisted journal APIs.

Account and authentication

JouView.com uses Google Login (OAuth) for authentication. We store your Google subject identifier, email, and display name linked to your JouView user record. We use secure HTTP-only cookies for website sessions. We don't receive or store your Google password.

Journal and product data

When you use JouView, we store journal-related data that you create or sync for your account. That includes trades, notes, custom columns, style rules, snapshots that you upload to JouView, settings, and related analytics that are derived from your journal. Optional AI transfer tokens let you authorize an AI or script to manage your journal via the Journal API. Tokens are secrets that you control and can rotate.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We don't store full card numbers. Stripe customer and subscription identifiers are stored so we can manage your plan and billing portal access.

Chrome extension

The extension runs only on TradingView pages (*.tradingview.com). It loads the JouView application script from https://js.jouview.com so the journal UI can update without a new store release for every product change. The script may call JouView APIs (https://api.jouview.com / https://jouview.com) for your signed-in journal. The extension's purpose is to provide that journal on TradingView. It isn't designed to operate on unrelated websites.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use session cookies that are required to keep you signed in on JouView.com. We do not sell personal data. Third parties such as Google (sign-in) and Stripe (payments) process data under their own terms when you use those features.

How we use data

We use account and journal data to provide JouView, authenticate you, sync your journal, process subscriptions, improve reliability and support, and comply with law. We do not sell your trades or personal information. We don't use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and journal data while your account is active and as needed for billing, security, and legal obligations. Contact us if you want help deleting your account or journal data.
